Born to Grow Bud
Josh and Nate, two founders and brothers, grew up in the vibrant surroundings of the Santa Cruz Mountains, where their family had been cultivating cannabis for generations, and both siblings gained intimate knowledge of cultivating some of California’s finest weed.
Josh’s passion for music led him to the realm of punk, where he found expression through his band Curbside, a venture he currently manages. Concurrently, he established Zero Magazine, a punk rock publication housed in downtown San José. On the other hand, Nathan delved into the world of underground genetics and clone business, further cementing the family’s commitment to the cannabis community.
In 2009, Josh and his lifelong companion, Luke, embarked on a groundbreaking journey by inaugurating Garden House Remedies, among the pioneering cannabis dispensaries in San José. Subsequently, in 2012, Nathan joined the ownership fold. They expanded their footprint with Haze on Hillsdale Avenue, later relocating Garden House Remedies to Alum Rock.
With the evolving landscape, the number of clubs in San José burgeoned to over 200, with Haze standing tall among them. Relocating to their site on Smith Avenue in 2015, they secured their position as one of the few remaining clubs in the city, numbering only 16.
Today, Josh and Nate stand proud, dedicated to providing the people of Silicon Valley with top-notch cannabis products at competitive prices, all backed by unparalleled customer service at Haze San José. Their unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction remains the cornerstone of their legacy.
